Webinar: COVID-19 Impact on Seniors Housing Market Valuation

May 13, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Seniors Housing Valuation Webinar

How will the coronavirus pandemic impact market valuation in the seniors housing sector? While there’s been a stock price rebound after REIT value plummeted at the outset of the pandemic, it isn’t clear right now where prices might end up for private and public markets.

What will the impact be on cap rates? Long-term lending? New transactions will be trickier, at least in the short term, as many of the metrics used in valuations are still not clear right now.

Join us Wed, May 13, 2020, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM EDT, for a lively discussion on what COVID-19 means for seniors housing valuation.

This panel will explore how the traditional components of seniors housing valuation have been upended by COVID-19 and what factors will most influence future prices.

Not all of the news is bad. History says that periods of large price decline are typically followed by periods of outsize performance. Also, many experts believe COVID-19 is an opportunity for the industry to demonstrate that seniors housing is the safest place for seniors to be.
